Alexander Gutting is a 2024 graduate from University of Connecticut with a BFA in Digital Media & Design and a concentration in Motion Design & Animation. During high school, Alex had a passion for creating videos and animation where he took four semesters of video production class as well as 3D motion/design classes outside of school. At UConn, he participated in extracurricular clubs related to his field such as UCTV, where he helped take roles for recording and editing high-quality film projects for advertising and branding. Most recently, he worked as an intern at a medical lab equipment manufacturing company, where he helped create explainer video/animation content for the company's brand.

During his time at UConn, Alex was driven by his interest in creating 2D/3D animations and stills as well as filming and editing impactful projects, such as mini-documentaries. Outside of digital media, Alex enjoys long-distance running, traveling, and playing chess. He currently lives in Boston, MA.
